The Acorn High School Choir will be performing The NIFTY FIFTIES “A Musical Comedy Tribute to the 1950s” on May 7th, 8th and 10th in the Mary Davis Gym on the Acorn High School Campus. Doors open at 6:30 on Friday and Saturday with the show beginning at 7:00. (Monday - doors open at 6:00 and show at 6:30). Tickets are $5 to be paid at the door. There will be popcorn and soda concessions available. Come out and support the Acorn Choir in their second full length theater production. This musical is written by Tim Kelly and lyrics and music by Bill Francoeur. It is ”Produced by special arrangement with PIONEER DRAMA SERVICE, INC., Englewood, Colorado”.

Water Fun Day
On Friday, May 21st, we will be celebrating the end of testing and school with a Water Fun Day with inflatable water slides and slip and slides!! Students will need to wear comfy clothes that can get wet. NO bathing suits!! Please also make sure your child wears shoes that can get wet or that are easy to slip on and off. (Water shoes are a good option)
Please send a change of clothes to school and a plastic bag for their wet clothes. Your child can also bring a towel and/or sunscreen.

Exciting news! It's time for Kindergarten Registration for the 2021-22 school year!
Kindergarten students for the 2021-2022 school year must turn five years of age on or before August 1, 2021.
Parents must submit the following:
1) A copy of their child’s shot record
2) Official Birth Certificate
3) Social Security Card
4) Kindergarten Physical
Registration forms have been placed outside the elementary office in the filing cabinet labeled Kindergarten Registration. Forms and all required documents can be brought to the elementary office between 9:00 a.m.-12:00 a.m., Monday-Friday, starting today.

Congratulations to the District Runner-up Acorn Softball Team! Please help support the softball team and baseball team by donating snacks for their trip to the Regional Tournament this Thursday. Donations can be dropped off at the office of either the Oden or Acorn campus.
