Attention Tiger Fans: Regionals basketball starts next week. The Sr. Girls will play on Wednesday at 10 a.m and the Sr Boys are playing Thursday at 7 p.m. Games are being held at Magazine. More info regarding tickets will be posted ASAP. Good luck tigers!!!

Read Across America week is March 1-5. We have a fun week planned for you! We have some theme days, not all days are dress up days but they are going to be fun and full of reading!
Monday: Cat in the Hat! Wear a hat!
Tuesday: Peace Love and Read Day! Wear your peace, love and read tshirt or wear something groovy!
Wednesday: Thidwick the Big Hearted Moose Day! Have a big heart, do something kind. School wide can food drive!
Thursday: You’re Only Old Once! Dress old!
Friday: I Can Lick 30 Tigers Today!Lollipop day! (Provided by the PTO) We will be working hard to read our K-12 reading goal!

The food box truck that was canceled on Friday will deliver on Monday. Pick up will be at 2:00 at the green store across from the Oden Post Office. Notes are being sent home with elementary students also.

If you are wanting to play youth baseball and softball you need to sign up as soon as possible. The deadline is Monday, March 1. Also, if you want to play on the Acorn team for your division you need to note that on the registration form.
Acorn Elementary will be celebrating Read Across America next week. March 1st-5th. We have a full week of fun spirit days planned to help us celebrate reading!

Oden Campus Announcement: The Food Box truck that was planning to come to Oden on Friday, February 26 has been POSTPONED until a later date. The delivery has been diverted to help communities of need in Texas who are still recovering from the winter storm that came through last week. We will update the community as we receive information.
Acorn Juniors, Don't Forget: The statewide ACT registration that was cancelled yesterday, has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thur., Feb. 25th during 3rd and 4th hours in Mr. Spradlin's room. Please bring your Chromebook to register.
The Acorn Campus is presently experiencing technical issues with their phone system. Please use the Admin office phone number, 479-394-2348, the extension number for the High School is 100 and the elementary is 300. Please bear with us as we work on getting this resolved.

The Sr. Girls are playing in the semi-finals as well on Thursday the 25th. They play Magazine @ Home. Good luck tigers!!!
