ORSD Acorn and Oden Campuses will be closed Thursday February 18th and Friday February 19th due to inclement weather. Students are required to continue at home learning. Oden Junior Class worked extremely hard today to get all the Valentine's Day orders made and delivered. We did two days worth of work in one day. I am very proud of them. Thanks to all of the teachers at Oden for stepping up and helping us out and being patient with us. Special thanks to Robin, Nurse Leigh, Jacy and Halie for helping dip, sprinkle, drizzle, and bag our wonderful treats. And an Extra special thanks to Mrs. Carti-Mauk for helping with brownies and keeping us supplied in chocolate, eggs, and anything else we were short on. Acorn High School has been awarded a grant in the amount of $65,480.02 to start a Culinary Arts program in their Family Consumer Science department. This new program of study will allow Mrs. Lyle's students to aquire skills and certifications they can use to gain employment within the culinary industry.

ORSD Family, Friendly reminder that Monday February 15th is a scheduled closing of ORSD for President's Day. Also, the weather is supposed to be coming in as well, so additional closings may happen. Oden Campus Announcement: THIS MESSAGE IS BEING SENT OUT AS A SAFETY REMINDER. The AFTERNOON CAR RIDER pick up route is the same as last semester. The gate will be opened after 2:28 PM. Please CAUTIOUSLY follow the signs, PICTURED IN THIS POST, all the way to the awning where elementary and preschool students will be loaded. STUDENTS COULD BE PRESENT ALONG THE ROUTE SO PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY. High school students should be picked up in the parking lot in front of the board room. If you are picking up elementary and high school car riders, please pick up the elementary students in the afternoon car rider pick up route first, then circle around and park in front of the board room to pick up high school students.
