Acorn Schools’ Host 2023 Harvest Festival On the evening of Friday, October 13th, Acorn Public Schools hosted the annual Harvest Festival event. The event is a tradition for Acorn Public Schools and held each fall on the Acorn campus to provide an engaging, fun, and celebratory experience for the whole family and community. Each grade level, from preschool to grade 12, hosts games or activities to raise money for grade level special projects as well as to enhance and enrich classroom experiences for students. UWI Presentation to AHS JRS & SRS On October 3rd, Jeremiah Humphrey with United Welding Institute met with Acorn High School juniors and seniors interested in the UWI welding programs. Mr. Humphrey discussed educational and career opportunities and financial resources for students pursuing a career in the welding industry. UWI’s campus is located in Pottsville, Arkansas.
