Acorn FBLA Place At State Conference The Acorn FBLA chapter traveled to Little Rock, AR on Monday, April 29th to attend the FBLA State Leadership Conference. Acorn High School students competing included: Rebecca Bloodworth - Journalism Clay McGee - Business Calculations Shay Allen, Kora Carter, and Ava Smith-Hawley - Graphic Design The Acorn FBLA Graphic Design Team of Allen, Carter and Smith-Hawley placed 3rd in the state with a score of 98/100 and their team also qualified to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL this summer. We are so proud of all of the students’ dedication and effort! AHS Seniors Selected for AR Governor’s Scholastic Honors Acorn High School has announced that two of its seniors have been given the honor of attending the 2024 Arkansas Governor’s Scholastic Honors Day. Ava Smith-Hawley, daughter of Emily and James Schnell, and Kenzie Daniels, daughter of Jon and Lisa Daniels have been selected to attend this annual prestigious event on Saturday, May 4th at the Governor’s Mansion in Little Rock. Smith-Hawley and Daniels will represent Acorn High School along with other top, high-achieving and outstanding seniors represented from high schools in Arkansas. A video and photo display highlighting seniors represented will be available at a later date this spring. Congratulations, Ava and Kenzie! We are proud of you! #orsdlifeprep
