Oden Campus Announcement: The Oden Woods & Waters Club, Oden High School's outdoor education and recreation club, held their annual Spring Fishing Tournament on North Fork Lake on Saturday, May 8. Food and prizes were provided to club members, parents and guests. Two kayaks were awarded to the two anglers who landed the two largest bass. All anglers received various fishing tackle, camping gear, and outdoor equipment. Prizes were partially donated by Mena Walmart Super Center.
Tonight is the last performance of Acorn High School Choir production of Nifty Fifties! Show starts at 6:30!

Mrs. Posey would like to announce the winners of the 2021 Earth Day K-3rd Coloring Contest. Students were read Otto the Otter and the Great Arkansas Mystery by Ron Wolfe, and learned how important it is not to litter. "Keep Arkansas Beautiful" is the motto of this fun, educational book.

To celebrate Earth Day this year, Mrs. Posey held a poster making contest in the library for grades 4th-6th. Students learned how to use Canva and made some amazing posters that showed they cared for our planet. There were over 45 students who entered this contest!!
Our top 3 winners are Ben Kincaid, Drew Mabry and Kipp White. Congratulations boys, you did a great job on your poster!
Acorn Elementary would like to thank Ryan & Regina Walker and all the staff at Allbaugh's Florist for the thoughtful teacher appreciation gift! Teachers enjoyed their snacks.
We would also like to thank the Boyd's for the yummy cupcakes this week.
