Acorn Preschool slots are now available for the 21-22 school year! Your child must turn 3 on or by August 1, 2021 to be eligible for this upcoming school year. You must turn in the following documentation to complete the enrollment process: 2020 taxes (adjusted gross income amount) only turn in a months worth of current check stubs if tax information does not reflect your current financial status (Tax information preferred, if applicable) Social security card Updated shot record Birth certificate Physical (needs to be completed before school starts in August) If you have any questions, feel free to contact Kim Larucci, Acorn Preschool Director/Lead Teacher at 479-234-3438.

ORSD Family, Today the Polk County Road Department is working on the entrance of Polk Road 96. Polk 96 is the entrance to the Acorn Campus. Please come through the back way off of highway 270 this week or come down the Legion road to access the Acorn Campus. ORSD Family, We are pleased to announce that ORSD will be able to provide school supplies for your children this year. For grades K-6 we will provide all items except backpacks and kinder mats. For grades 7-12 notebooks, pens, pencils, and folders will be provided. I hope you are having a great summer and I look forward to seeing all of you in August! If you are interested in being a substitute teacher for the 2021/2022 school year, you can attend the Willsub/ESS Meeting and Substitute Training on July 22nd. The meeting will begin at 10 AM on the Oden Campus and at 1 PM on the Acorn Campus. See attached flyer for more information.

ORSD Family, This is a friendly reminder that the next two weeks are the AAA dead weeks for all sports. ORSD facilities are closed for practices and activities. This two week closing includes softball fields, baseball fields, gyms, tennis courts, and track facilities on each campus. Please help spread the word that no one is to be up at the schools practicing on our campuses. I hope all of our parents, coaches, and student athletes get a much needed rest from sports. *Oden Campus Announcement* Coach Kennedy will be hosting practices tomorrow, June 18th for any student grades 7-12 that wants to participate in basketball for the upcoming school year. Girls 7-12 will practice from 6-7:30 pm and boys 7-12 will practice from 7:30-9 pm.
