Tomorrow February 3rd, 2022 all campuses of the Ouachita River School District will move to AMI learning and be closed due to inclement weather. I will determine Friday's learning plan once I evaluate the weather conditions tomorrow. Principals and teachers will monitor emails from students and parents in case they have questions about AMI learning. Please let us know if you have any questions today while our schools are open.

Students in kindergarten and 1st Grade at Acorn Elementary had a blast celebrating the 100th day of school. Some of their favorite activities of the day were popping 100 balloons and 100 cup stack challenge!
ORSD: Due to the rise in Covid cases at this time, the annual Dental Sealant Program offered through Healthy Connections will be canceled this year.

Oden Campus Announcement: Club and organization pictures for the annual will be taken on Thursday, January 27th, in the Bill Kelly Gymnasium. Junior Girls Basketball and Senior Girls Basketball pictures will be taken during 1st Period. Junior Boys Basketball and Senior Boys Basketball pictures will be taken during 2nd Period. All other organizational pictures will be done during 3rd period.

The Acorn Sr. Boys vs Future School game for tomorrow has been canceled. We will push out the Sr. Girls start time as soon as we have it.

Acorn Yearbook Announcements!
If you plan on ordering a “personalized” yearbook this year, orders must be placed online no later than Friday January 28th. If you choose to place your order through Mrs. Pearce at the High School, the order must be turned in no later than Friday February 4th.
If you have pictures of your Acorn students that had a hunting photo from the 2021-2022 seasons that you would like to share for possible inclusion in the yearbook, please share to gpearce@orsd.k12.ar.us or hard copies may be brought to AHS Library and scanned.
Shout out to our very own Acorn Tiger, Justice Neufeld!!! Tomorrow he will be signing with the University of Arkansas Little Rock (a D1 school) to run Cross Country.

Oden Community Announcement: KFC at Pencil Bluff Baptist has been cancelled for tonight, January 19, 2022.
Oden Campus Announcement: The Southside Road Bus Route (Ms. Stacy's) will be modified Thursday. Morning and afternoon pick-up and drop-off times will different for Ms. Stacy's route on Thursday, January 20, 2022 . Tuesday, January 18th, Mrs. Stacy's bus will be leaving school early to run her route. Please expect students on her route to be home 20-30 minutes earlier than normal.
