Acorn Anglers Fishing Tournament at Lake Ouachita
The Acorn Anglers Bass Fishing Team would like to thank all of their sponsors, family, friends, and AHS staff and supporters for cheering them on in their first season opener of tournament bass fishing.

💉 Acorn Campus Annual Flu Clinic 💉
Acorn Campus will be hosting its annual Flu Clinic on October 28, 2026.
Permission slips will be sent home today with all elementary students. High school students who need a permission slip may pick one up from the High School Office.
Please complete and return all signed permission slips to the school by October 14, 2026.

Acorn Runners Compete at Tom Stuthard Stampede
Acorn High School hosted the Tom Stuthard Stampede on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 on the Tom Stuthard Cross Country Course, with Tiger and Lady Tiger runners competing in all four divisions.
In the Junior Girls 1.5 mile race, Acorn finished sixth as a team with 140 points. Anastasia Bohlman led Acorn with a 25th place finish in 14:29.9. Lacelynn Southern was 34th in 15:49.8, Lindsey Perry was 35th in 15:59.5, Breezie Harris was 41st in 16:28.6, AbiGail Slaten was 44th in 16:41.1, Ryder Taylor was 45th in 16:41.6, and Evie Norris was 60th in 18:52.1. Paisley Laughlin was 63rd in 19:16.9 and Payton Myers was 65th in 19:28.7.
The Junior Boys placed 13th as a team with 345 points. Dominic Crawford led the Tigers in 71st place with a time of 11:54.0, followed by Adam Hamilton at 11:56.3 and Hunter Pippen at 11:57.4. Daeyton Cornett-Pate finished in 12:44.4, Raj Dandikar in 12:45.2, Kaison Rosson in 12:46.2, and Trevin Bradley in 13:05.0. Garrett Morgan finished 130th in 13:54.8, while Jerrick Powell was 131st in 13:55.3.
In the Senior Girls 5K, Acorn was represented by Raina McLoud and Gracie Smith. Raina finished 57th in 37:43.5, while Gracie Smith placed 66th in 42:21.3.
The Senior Boys 5K featured Ryder Laughlin and Cy Young for Acorn. Ryder Laughlin finished 57th in 25:45.1, with Young right behind in 58th at 25:47.7.
Acorn’s runners turned in a strong day of competition on their home course, giving the Tigers and Lady Tigers another opportunity to race in front of the home crowd at the Tom Stuthard Stampede.
