AHS Students Tour UAFS Campus On Tuesday, October 29th, a group of Acorn High School juniors and seniors toured the University of Arkansas Fort Smith campus. Prior to the tour, UAFS Admissions Advisor Darbi Owens provided a presentation and overview of UAFS admissions, academic programs, scholarships and deadlines, student and campus life organizations, housing and dining options for students. The guided tour of the campus included a view of campus housing, dining, student union, health and wellness center, fine arts facilities, learning commons/library, and many of the campus facilities and landmarks. Thank you to the University of Arkansas Fort Smith ambassadors and admissions staff for a great tour and presentation! Ouachita River School District....preparing students for life! #orsdlifeprep

Acorn Elementary 5th & 6th Grade parents--- Please be on the lookout for the permission slip for the Acorn Christmas Musical, sent to parents of all 5th and 6th-grade students. We ask that you complete and return this form, indicating whether or not your child will participate in the program, no later than Tuesday, December 3rd. Your timely response will help us plan effectively for this special event. Thank you for your cooperation and support!

Acorn High School FBLA is hosting a t-shirt fundraiser to help pay for student dues and conference fees. Shirts are available in sizes Child Small to Adult 4XL! Forms were sent home with each elementary student last week, and the deadline to order has been extended to November 15, 2024. If you need another form or have any questions, contact Mrs. Goodner in the high school (ext. 109). Thanks for supporting our students!

At Acorn Monday School, the day was full of pumpkin magic and buttery delights! The little ones dove into a pumpkin seed counting adventure—each tiny seed was a treasure to discover and count. The kids turned fresh cream into golden, silky butter, shaking jars with all their might, their faces lighting up as the soft cream transformed before their eyes.

Acorn JR Boys and Both Senior Teams are set to take on the Cossatot River Eagles—on November 5th @ 5:30 pm. Come to The Acorn New Gym and support your hometown Tigers.

Oden JR Girls and SR Teams will travel to Scranton to take on the Rockets. Games will begin @ 4:30 pm.
