Let's pack the stands with PINK! It's our Pink Out Home game for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!! Games begin @ 530 when the Acorn Lady Tigers & Tigers will take on the County Line Lady Indians & Indians! Come out and support!!

The Lady Tigers and Tigers are set to take on the County Line Indians in a head-to-head match beginning at 530 pm, at the Acorn New Gym. Come on out and root for your hometown Tigers.

The Oden JR boys, Lady Timberwolves, and Timberwolves are set to take on Gospel Light at the Bill Kelly Gym starting at 5 pm. Watch your hometown Timberwolves play some Basketball.

Acorn Elementary, come enjoy Thanksgiving Lunch with your student(s). On Wednesday, November 13th, Kindergarten will be from 10:45-11:30, and 3rd & 4th grade will be from 11:45-12:30. On Thursday, November 14th, 1st & 2nd grade will be from 10:45-11:30, and 5th & 6th grade will be from 11:45-12:30. Papers to make payment and reserve your lunch will be sent home with your students this week. Papers are DUE Back by November 5th, so we can have a headcount of how many people will be attending.

ACORN SR TIGERS, JR & SR LADY TIGERS BASKETBALL Post-game highlights - October 22nd Acorn vs @Kirby JR Girls, SR Girls & SR Boys JR Lady Tigers 42 JR Lady Trojans 9 Top Scorers Addi Ledbetter - 16 pts Isabella Lozier - 15 pts Coach Chris Ledbetter - The JR Girls brought their defense against the Kirby JR Lady Trojans. I thought our girls did a much better job of playing good, sound defense without fouling. We also shot the ball much better than we did the previous night against County Line. The intensity was better and we reduced our turnovers against Kirby. Acorn vs @Kirby SR Girls Lady Tigers 66 Lady Trojans 42 Top Scorers KaitLynn Ledbetter - 17 pts Chanity Hall - 16 pts Josey Dollar - 12 pts Coach Chris Ledbetter - For the first game I feel like our girls played fairly well. I like the intensity that we played. I do feel we could have executed some key moments a little better but all in all, not a bad opener. ACORN JR TIGERS & JR LADY TIGERS BASKETBALL Post-game hiighlights - October 21st Acorn vs @County Line JR Girls & JR Boys JR Lady Tigers 27 JR Lady Indians 33 Top Scorers Isabella Lozier - 13 pts Addi Ledbetter - 6 pts Ashlin Ford - 6 pts Coach Chris Ledbetter - The JR Girls played hard in their opener against County Line but came up short by 6 pts to a very solid team. I was very pleased with the team effort but had a hard time making shots. All in all this is a game that we needed to get better. The Acorn Classic Schedule is out! The following teams will be participating in the Classic. Acorn, Cossatot River, Caddo Hills, Ouachita, and Smithville. These teams will be all Senior High Teams only. Come out November 1st from 430 pm to 815 pm and November 2nd from 2 pm to 545 pm and watch some great basketball match ups.
