The tournament brackets are set, and our teams are prepared to bring their A-game in each showdown. Join us in the stands and show your Tiger pride as they battle their way to the top. The Junior Tigers are fired up and ready for battle in the Nashville Jr. Insurance Invitational! On November 18th at 4 PM, they’ll face off against DeQueen, aiming for a big win. If they claim victory, they’ll be back on November 21st at 7 PM to keep their championship hopes alive. Should they stumble, they’ll regroup and return for a game on November 23rd at noon, determined to finish strong.
Meanwhile, the Junior Lady Tigers hit the court on November 20th at 7 PM, taking on the winner of the Nashville vs. Murfreesboro matchup. Both teams are ready to bring their best—Go Tigers! 🐅🏀


Acorn Lady Tigers & Acorn Tigers are set to take on Haworth. Senior teams only; games will begin at 530 pm.


Oden travels to Oark. Senior teams play at 5 pm. Come out and support your Timberwolves!


Nashville Junior High Tournament November 18/23. Come to Nashville and support the Jr Lady Tigers & Jr Tigers as they compete in this tournament! Times will be announced as soon as they post!

AHS Hosts Veterans Program
On Friday, November 8, 2024, Acorn High School hosted a special, patriotic program recognizing and honoring Veterans from all branches of the military. The program included the following:

National Anthem - Acorn High School Band & Choir
Military Branches Ensemble & Presentation of Flags - Acorn High School Band & Choir
Honoring Our Veterans Slideshow - Created by AHS E.A.S.T. - AHS E.A.S.T. Teacher Makaila Goodner, Amy May, Christian Christiana and Gabriel Lickly
Guest Speaker - Mr. Jerrall Strasner, ORSD Superintendent
Mr. Strasner recognized our Veterans for their sacrifice and service, thanking their families for the sacrifices they made as well. He challenged the students to live a life of serving others and to lead well.
Students, Veterans and guests were presented with an American flag to waive proudly during the ceremony. At the conclusion of the program, Veterans and guests were invited to have lunch with the high school students after the program.

AHS Students Tour UAFS Campus
On Tuesday, October 29th, a group of Acorn High School juniors and seniors toured the University of Arkansas Fort Smith campus.
Prior to the tour, UAFS Admissions Advisor Darbi Owens provided a presentation and overview of UAFS admissions, academic programs, scholarships and deadlines, student and campus life organizations, housing and dining options for students.
The guided tour of the campus included a view of campus housing, dining, student union, health and wellness center, fine arts facilities, learning commons/library, and many of the campus facilities and landmarks.
Thank you to the University of Arkansas Fort Smith ambassadors and admissions staff for a great tour and presentation!
