~Acorn Elementary~
Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is test day.
Tomorrow through Thursday your child will be taking ACT® Aspire® assessments for 3rd-6th. The valuable data we gain from these assessments allows us to make evidence based decisions when addressing your child’s strengths, areas for improvement, and growth potential. This can give you an early indication of his or her likely readiness for the future, providing time to address areas where improvement is needed.
Important things to remember for this week’s testing:
• Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before the tests.
• Have your child at school on time.
• Make sure your child has a nutritional breakfast.
• Encourage your child not to stress about this test, but to try their hardest to show what they have learned this school year.

New Oden yearbooks will be available early next month!
Retro yearbooks are still available for the low introductory price of $10 each until May. Getcha One!

Oden Prom photos. Parents ask your children if they have received theirs yet. Many have theirs now. They should all receive a digital copy by the end of the week.
I have had two parents ask about print packages. I had not planned to create one, but if you express interest I shall see what our Mt. Ida Printshop will charge. Thanks

~Acorn Campus Before and After School Program~
We would like to remind all parents of students who participate in our before & after school program, that the last day of our program is Thursday, April 29th.

~Acorn Preschool~
During Arkansas Children’s Week, Mrs. Rusert did a wonderful “Bear” program for our preschoolers. She taught them about a bear’s natural habitat, what they eat, what type of bears we have in our state. Children were able to see and touch a real bearskin, skull, and bear paw. Students were amazed by the topic and talked about it for days after! Thank you, Mrs. Rusert, for being such an awesome science teacher at AES!
