This past Friday, the Acorn FFA chapter was represented at the Colt's Classic FFA contests held at UA Cossatot in DeQueen. The Ag. Mechanics team placed 2nd. This team consisted of Caleb Reynolds, Brady Lyle, Nathan Watts, Kacey Head, Keelan Allen, and Damien Pool. Caleb Reynolds had the 4th highest individual score. The Electricity team placed 6th; this team consisted of Brody Webb, Jacob Moore, Bradlee Bissell, and Raymond Hannaman. This was a good showing for these young men as they prepare for district competition in Mid March. - (Jim Pennington, FFA Adviser) ORSD wishes them luck in district competition and beyond!!
